α-monolaurin 90% is well-known fat-like, heat-stable molecule produced by the esterification of lauric acid (a 12-carbon MCFA) and glycerol.It is not only an excellent emulsifier, but also a safe and efficient broad-spectrum antibacterial agent. GML is an ester-type antimicrobial agent with hydrophilic groups and easily soluble hydrophobic groups.
